Djokovic must Salvage Season at US Open
For any professional tennis player, a win at the Australian Open, a final defeat to the King of Clay at the French Open and a semi final defeat to one of the legends of tennis might be considered as components of an extremely successful season but Serbian tennis ace Novak Djokovic is not just any tennis player and even on the back of such brilliant displays, there is no room for satisfaction for the 25 year old as he is on the verge of relinquishing his world number one crown to Roger Federer if the Swiss Maestro manages to defeat Andy Murray to claim his 7th Wimbledon title.
Djokovic has been setting the pace in men’s tennis over the last couple of seasons, coming out of nowhere to win three of the four Grand Slams and he has set very high standards, not only for himself but for the other players as well.
